Pokemon Gyms Easy Mode Part 1.

Welcome everybody!

This is just a first part of my new series about PokeGyms. Actually there is always a way to make it trough the Gym easier in a game.  I'm gonna write some advise for you trainers. Time to start with Gen 1 Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow because there is only 16 days to re-release of them.

For lazy people who do not like reading here you have a picture TL;DR for
Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Yellow

Gym Leader Brock -Stone Pokemon

Ok,So the first one is actually easy to beat for ore than one way. Lets start with Pokemon Red/Blue. You can choose Squirtle or Bulbasaur so you'll get super-effective moves. but if you choose Charmander(like most players in my region) you need something more. You can try with Butterfree and Confusion or Spearow with Fury Attack.

In Pokemon Yellow you can catch Nidoran and train it to level 12 so it will have Double Kick which is super-effective against rock type pokemon. There is also Mankey to catch on route 22 that goes west from Viridian City and our happy monkey learns Low Kick at the level of 9.

PS.Don't forget to catch a Pikachu in Viridian Forest. Even if I hate it Pikachu will be good for some part of the game.

Gym Leader Misty -Water Pokemon

Aaand we are in the next gym.  In Pokemon Red/Blue you have access to Odish or Bellsprout in route 24 up north. You could also catch a Pikachu in Viridian Forest that I recommend.  Also Pikachu can learn a Flash HM that will be useful some later in game but after beating Misty you can just put it in a box.
In Yellow you already have a Pikachu so just level it to 19 or 20 lvl and you shouldn't have a problem with Misty.

Gym Leader Lt. Surge-Electric Pokemon

Time for third gym. You go to the east, enter a Diglett's Cave.  Go around until you catch a Dugtrio. It will be at least at 29 level so Lt.Surge can just sit and watch how you win.

Gym Leader Erika -Grass Pokemon

If you choose a Charmander or get Charmander in Pokemon Yellow you probably have at least Charmeleon now so it is easy. You choose Squirtle or Bulbasaur? Well remember that Butterfree with Confusion I mentioned earlier-It would be good now especially it should have good level if you taken it from Viridian Forest uptil now. Before the Celadon City you can catch a Growlithe but still  it will need few more levels to challenge a gym. Or just use some flying type with Fly. On route 17(that's one blocked by a Snorlax) you can get a Fearow. Teach it a Fly.

Gym Leader Sabrina -Psychic Pokemon

Here we go. The easy part ends here. If you weren't slacking off you should just go for speed and Earthquake them with Dugtrio. Or at least Slash them. Venomoth should be burned or Fly'ed.
Using Thunder Wave form Pikachu/Raichu is also acceptable.
In Pokemon Yellow you should have already Venusaur,Blastoise,Charizard,Pikachu so if your level is not so high go defeat Team Rocket or Koga.

Gym Leader Koga-Toxic Pokemon

Now,Butterfree with Confusion,Dugtrio with Dig,Hypno with Confusion you should have at least one of them.  Or Kadabra with Psychic/Confusion/Psybeam. That will be enough to defeat Koga unless you are so much under leveled.

In Pokemon Yellow Koga will have Venonat and Venomoth so just Fly them to the moon.

Gym Leader Blaine -Fire Pokemon

Do I have to say how to defeat a Fire trainer on an island surrounded by water?  You just use Surf of your Tentacruel/Blastoise/Lapras/name-your-water-pokemon-other-than-magikarp. Only reason to lose would be your pokemon low level.

In Pokemon yellow you should have Blastoise with Surf but remember that you need at least level 48 because Yellow version is tougher.

Gym Leader Giovanni -Ground Pokemon

The last and strongest Gym leader. Dugtrio with Earthquake, water pokemon with Surf and you go.  If you were surfing back to Palet Town and not just go there with fly you should be at good level. If you were slacking-go train.  Or go catch some ice types maybe Articuno ?  Or go buy some lucky dice if you get a Fissure in the face because you certainly lack a luck :)
Remember to train at least ot 50 level in Pokemon Yellow.

But do I forget about something...naaah.

Figthing Gym

Get a Flying Pokemon (ie Pidgeot or Fearow) and Fly them to the moon. Then get a Hitmonchan. Having Ice Punch,Thunder Punch and Fire Punch is not so bad.
